Studio Policies

Our goal at Rochester International Dance is for you to get a high quality service as a student.

Registration: YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER AND PRE-PAY FOR CLASSES

To register, you may do one of the following:

  1. Call 507-884-1375
  2. E-mail info@RochesterInterntionalDance.com
  3. Register yourself online on the registration page.
  4. You can also Register by selecting any of the classes menu.

To pay, you may do one of the following:

  1. Mail your completed registration form with payment to RIDS, 1750 Hwy 52 N, Rochester, MN 55901 Checks can be made to RIDS. Late registration for most classes is accepted if space permits; fees will be pro-rated.
  2. Go to the registration page and pay by Paypal. Please include your name, phone number, e-mail, class for which you are registering.

Try any of our classes with no risk. Your first class is free. If you don’t LOVE it, you are under no obligation to return. You do need to let us know you are coming. Simply call or e-mail Sadiya to let her know you would like to try out a class.

Fees:

Fees must be paid by the first class for the entire session. Most teachers will accept late registration if space permits.

Drop-In availability:

Many of our classes allow you to “drop in” at an increased fee than the session fee. For example, the standard adult class fee for a session paid in advance is $10. The drop in fee would be $12. Please see the class schedule to determine if the class allows drop ins.

Missed classes and refunds:

We regret that refunds can not be given after the first class. However, your class pass offers flexibility in two ways.  First, you have 3 months to use 8 classes.  Second, you can take any of the 30 classes that our studio offers. In cases of emergency or serious illness, students may make arrangements with their teachers.

Cancellations:

Rochester International Dance Studio reserves the right to cancel a class if enrollment is not sufficient. Students may choose another class or a full refund.

Inclement Weather:

In case of inclement weather, we will follow the Rochester Public School cancellation decision. We will attempt to schedule make-up classes when possible; if a make-up class is not possible, you may attend any other class we offer during the same session. We are not able to give refunds or credits for classes missed due to weather.
